Spyderco and Kershaw both have knives that are made in the USA, as well as some that aren't.

The 841 is made in USA I think. I was looking around before I got a good deal on Benchmade Mini Adamas

On the Buck site they have an American flag on the US products, which is still the majority of their products.

Usually I just look at the price when I go on any website. As for buck knives it’s pretty easy to separate the wheat from the chaffe.
Case Schrade and uncle Henry are the same way bet.
I’m not sure I noticed any flags last time I was on there.
Looking for that little bird knife with the gut hook. Guess it’s not offered any longer sadly.

Benchmade mini crooked river. I have one, it's a fantastic knife.

This looks like a very nice knife, but it is also 7 times more expensive. These can't be the only options: a $40 chinese made knife or a $270 us made knife.

Spyderco Native is made in Colorado. They'll run you around $120. It will be a good deal less if you qualify for their OpFocus program:

You can catch them on sale for as little as $150.

But yes, you need to pay extra for American made. That's the thing, you get china prices because they use near-slave labor and substandard working conditions. If you want to avoid that, it'll cost you.

Yup - that's not my issue, nor is my issue that they make some products in China. It is more that they listed the Origin as imported. If you're going to manufacture in China, then at least own in.
