If you * want * a 9mm rifle on purpose , go for it .

If it's primarily a temporary Pistol Substitute, and as you posted in the other thread that you submitted for youf HQL today - Have patience young grasshopper.

Your HQL will be there somewhere between tomorrow and 29 days .

Or if you just have to have a handgun by end of next week, get an HQL Exempt handgun now . ( Still 77R & 7 days)

I can get a keltec before completed my hql, it’s legal to open carry in public, it’s foldable so I can put it in a backpack. In case of nearby danger I can still take it out and defend myself as I am escaping towards outside without engaging the threat.

It shoots more accurate than a pistol as well.
I just noticed your location as MoCo... Hope you've read up on their currently enacted anti-carry county law (i.e. ridiculously expanded list of "sensitive places" plus a 100 yd exclusionary zone around each location. Also hoping that you've joined MSI in the fight against such blatantly unconstitutional laws. Here's a link to an ongoing thread on the law and to MSI, JIC.

I LIKE my sub2000, with stock sights even. I put most of the mcarbo internals in it, and it runs nice, and is quite accurate for a 9mm blaster. The site picture takes a little experimentation, and I can see why many folks hate it, but it works fine for me.

I bought it because I thought it would be good to have a PCC that takes the same mags as a pistol I own. But, honestly, I really have to stretch the imagination to find a good practical purpose for owning it. As a toy, though...
It is much more practical for perimeter defense in the urban/suburban jungle of B-CC than an AR, IMO…
