Wow the two tone look really is nice. If it shoots half as good as it looks your wife is set.

Looks even better in person and is a great shooter. I thought the aluminum grips would be slick and/or hard to get used to, but I liked them.

    THREAD FROM THE DEAD!!!

I just got a Buckmark at engage today and need ideas on optics. I'm 100% positive it's been discussed but there was no titled thread so I revived this one.

Chad as far as optics go what does that one run and how did/does she like it?

I'm looking to be around or sub 150 but I want something I can accuratly shoot up to around 25 yards but would like to strech it out to 50 on occasion.

I gotta PM Erik later as his RDS on his ruger was pretty nice but just looking for non POS optic options for the new toy.

If I have to toss up more money toward the RDS I will but would prefer to stay 150 or sub 150.

    BTW that gun was sexy!

Its a Bushnell Trophy Red Dot, it wasnt optimal for that gun too large. They run about $100.00 if you want one.

    Heres the same gun now:

The Optic here is a Primary Arms AImpoint Micro Clone with REMOVABLE Base. They run about $100. If you want a Quick Release youll have to get a LaRue Q.D. for about $75.00, or get an AIMPOINT T1 Base $60.00 and an Aimpoint T1 Throw LEver $50.00. Problem with the Larue is it WONT attach to a ruger rail baecause the Larue has a Square Recoil Lug and the Ruger Base has a Round Recoil Lug. SO youll need a different Rail for the Larue mount.
