IWI Carmel

Looking through all the New Gun videos the Carmel caught my eye. I own a Tavor Sar but wasn't sure if the Carmel would be Maryland legal. Also waiting on a side by side comparison of the besides one being a standard the other a bullpup. Anyone here held or shot one?

Side folding stock, flash hider and detachable magazine is a Maryland deal breaker. The flash suppresser should be easily removed, thus making it legal in Marylandistan.

ETA- The 30rd magazine is obviously a no-go here.

The IWI website calls it an "assault rifle". You know it ain't gonna fly in MD at that point. (at least for now)

Right answer. Intensely curious as to whether we'll eventually see a 300AAC conversion for these (the barrel is supposedly quick change). As far as I'm aware, no one's had serious hands-on time with the Carmel yet.
