I shot a mouse with a 357 Magnum round once. Be prepared to walk to find it. Following flight trajectory will help.

Shot a tick once…with a 38 Special, too. My son called me ‘TK’ for awhile after that.

My suggestion is the Ruger Mk 22 pistol or a 22 S&W Model 63 or its carbon copy (?). That is a 4” J frame that fits nicely in your hip pocket. Accurate to boot.

No one's actually shooting mice in this thread. Well, some are because they misunderstood the title. It's about small pocket pistols... AKA mouse guns.

Some "Cheese" for my 1903 Pocket Hammerless (has been in my family for 99 years-grandfather's stepfather bought it in Philly in 1924) and Mauser HSC just arrived. Cost almost as much as my 1st car.

Luckily, I have tons of .22short and .25acp for the others & if I get low, Atlantic Guns has it on the shelf.

I have noticed that original mags for some of these old pistols are very pricey and that the aftermarket/new mags are totally hit or miss.

US Armament makes (made?) high-quality magazines for the Colt Model M (1903, 1908) that are significantly less than the price of an excellent original. Brownell's has them, ePay often has them. You can distinguish them from the lower quality mags by the Colt marking. The US Armament baseplate also logo reads opposite of original (original reads with the toe to the left) and different font so you don't get fleeced paying original mag price for repro mag.
    TripleK, take a pass.

    To your quest:

Dude is close enough to be accurate; B&B was at N Hollywood not Glendale; $59.99 was the price point for me, not $69.99. I think I still have the box and receipt.

Do not dry fire. Accuracy is minute of barn.

Ran well for about 500 rounds or so then went to chit. Needed to be extremely clean and well lubed.

    Good Luck OP!

Love a good mouse gun. Whenever I take friends to the range, I always think they will be the most excited to shoot an AR or one of my old milsurps. But almost without fail its the mouse gun they get the most excited to try out.

25acp Astra Firecat (with mouse for scale).

Here is a mouse killer that will also fit in your pocket:

Since I would probably have an ND with the Cannon Moustrap, I spent a pretty penny (for my budget) and bought a HK4 from Atlantic Guns.

I had to do it since I already have the Mauser HSC. The Mauser HSC designer, designed the HK4. The pistols look like twins.

It only comes with the .380 barrel and magazine. I will have to hunt the components for .32acp, .25acp.

The .22lr conversion is on Ebay.

    No pics yet.

If you want .25, how about a vintage Seecamp? Or up your game to .32 and buy a new one.

The latest addition, picked it up today from United.

This should do it for my collection, at least until I see something else.
