So, this is a strange situation. My Uncle, a Cumberland City police officer passed almost 20 years ago. His 9mm was given to me, no will, nothing written like that. His oldest brother, my Step Dad gave it to me but he is not long for this world either now. Is there a way to make the firearm legal in MD? It has been sitting in a drawer for years, I took it out and cleaned it up the other day, fires great, nice Browning but would love to be able to use it more.

It's already legal. The gun was made prior to 2013. For all anyone knows it's been yours the whole time. I have a few guns like that and never did a 77r and don't worry about it either.

Place the boot of your oppressor gently upon your own neck, with the hope that it will not be pressed more firmly than absolutely necessary.
