A friend of mine has this old shotgun that he is trying to learn more about. I tried some google searches and checked the one gun value book I have and I could not find anything about it. Here is a picture in case someone here knows anything about it.

International Arms was a trade name for guns made for/by E.C. Meachum, a St. Louis hardware store between 1871-1900.

It's a utility gun, typical of the era. What do the barrels look like. If they are regular steel, and not damascus, you would be able to shoot low power loads. Have a gunsmith check the chamber size, as the length of shells has change with time.

Thanks for the information. I will try to get better pictures as well. The barrels are regular steel, so I am hoping I can load up some light stuff that he can try. I have not determine the length of the chamber yet, but its on our to do list.
