I don't have my Dissent yet, but am planning for needed add-ons . I have several different optics to try so the first thing I have to purchase is a folding brace. While CMMG has an offering from SB, I am also looking at A3 Tactical. It appears that fitting a brace is as complicated as fitting a trap gun.

The SB brace is pretty straight forward, but doesn't allow for mods if needed for cheek weld etc. The A3 brace system, allows for changing geometry but I don't know what will work for me.

On my CMMG Banshee pistol, I have an SBA3 and it works for me. Of course it has a built in cheek rest so it is quite different from the straight beam of the folding braces. A3 has a couple of cheek riser options to add to their brace but SB doesn't.

Please give me your suggestions and experiences.

    TIA

What banshee do you have? 4.5inch? Caliber?

Maxim makes a collapsible stock for pic rail / Sig mounting, they have a narrow one just over an inch between the rods, and a "wide" that is 1.5" between rods, and collapses pretty small. For a side folder I do like A3, and have a couple for other things. They are nice being modular, and a simple butt pad swap is cheap if you SBR it. I have also used the SB 1913 brace, and it is compatible with the A3 struts, or can swap to a Farrowtech ultralight stock.
