Has anyone ever deer hunted on the AGC property in the hunting zones and how successful were you. Giving some thought to doing so this year if I have time.

Years ago, the range officer had to call a cease fire. A deer walked on to the 100 yard range while everyone was shooting.

    Seriously, it happened.

So it sounds like hunting there in the zones provided would be like shooting fish in a barrell.

A couple of years ago I was shooting my 44 mag on the pistol range. I was the only one there a full sized doe walked right in front of me. I stopped and she slowly walked away. Unnatural behavior. AGC only allows you take does. I don't harvest does I only take bucks. I believe 50 a year is the limit for population control. I was thinking about giving it a try with my crossbow. I never did though. May be worth it though for doe meat.
