Mine was accepted 7/29 and been sitting with no movement.

Dont feel bad, mine is the same way, but I am 8/2/22, strange though mine was accpeted the same day, and assigned investigator next day on the 3rd. It’s been two weeks and nothing.

I don't understand how they are going thru these applications as I am going on five weeks and I have only been accepted when it seems most people are approved in that amount of time, What gives.

If it makes you feel better, I was accepted 7/29 and no NICS either. I've even bought a firearm during that time frame, NICS went through for that.

OK so I didn’t know actually how to do that so I went into the application and I do indeed have a NICS number. It’s been since august 4th. Is that normal? Seems that others have gotten their approval only days after NICS

There were some with NICS on 8/3 today that were approved. Give it another day or two and you will be happy. Then again there were others with a 7/28 NICS that got approved today. It is disorganized organization at best. Check the other thread for more info and a handy dandy spreadsheet put out by Boondock Saint. He posts all the time and I see one is post #3003

Don't think so. 17's are lost. This is me too (just checked for NICS again 6:58AM). Very frustrating, especially seeing folks go from submitted to approved in 12 minutes. Dont go by the submitted date. It is the accepted date that they are using.

Submitted on 7/8/22 and received my card in the mail on 8/15/22. So about five weeks start to finish.

They are approved by accepted date not NICS date. Right now they are finishing up people accepted 7/18, and it seems like it takes a few days per accepted date (they have been working on 7/18 since friday). At the current speed, I would say they get to 7/29 accepted dates in three-four weeks.

Monday will be 4 weeks since mine was assigned to a investigator and got a NICS.

28 days since accepted, and 38 days total, and nothing since accepted. No investigator assigned but got my NICS #on 08/09
