Holy Cow!!!! Just got the email. My MD concealed carry application was just approved!!! IN JUST 25 DAYS!!!!

I can't believe it!!! About ten minutes ago, I received an email from MDSP titled: "MD HGP - Your Application Has Been Given a Final Disposition"

As I submitted my MD concealed carry permit application on June 23rd, only 25 days ago, I figured I must have been denied for some reason. Certainly it could not be approved so soon right?

WRONG!!!!!

I logged in to the MDSP licensing portal and my application has been APPROVED! and the "Accepted Date" was June 24th!

Well done MDSP and thank you!!!!

Feeling pretty darn good about Maryland right now!!!!

date of investigator assignment?
date of calling references?

Might as well ask
dd214 or class
anything special like nra instructor, leo etc?

Yes, had the HQL for a few years now.

Just a regular joe who took a class about a month ago. No DD-214, not LE.

Yeah I was just trying to get a general time line, we know that may change over the next few months? I got my investigator today.

Mine was submitted on 6/24, accepted on 7/04 and crickets since.

Yes, had the HQL for a few years now.

In my class today the instructor thought those who have an HQL would process faster on the admin side. Maybe there is something to that, but a sample of 1 doesn't hold much weight
