So I just got a email from the Maryland state police saying that my application for my HGP was completed and is on final disposition usps 10-14 business days what does that means ?

So I just got a email from the Maryland state police saying that my application for my HGP was completed and is on final disposition usps 10-14 business days what does that means ?

It means log in and check the last page of your application for your final approval status. If approved, it will be in the mail in 10-14 days.

Wow so fast ! Didn’t expect that , I don’t even know if they called the references that was listed , but heard it takes 90 days to receive the license

Lately it has been anywhere from 30 to 45 days.

They're not calling references unless there is something to look into further.
EX- In 1999 I had a DUI (0.09 BAC) and I disclosed it on my application. They didn't call my references.

Maryland is Maryland , and MSP is MSP , and they can change their mind anytime they feel like it .

But from June 2022 to current , they only contact References if * something else in the Investigation * has cought their eye for investigative deep diving . For routine applicants , not contacted .

Log into your profile on the licensing portal. On the last page you can confirm your application was approved. From there it should be in your wallet in a week or two.
