I have a Hastings rifled barrel that I use with my Browning Auto 5 shotgun.

With the ammo I like to use, it shoots 4-6 in high at 100yds with the elevation set "Down" as low as the rear sight will go.

I have no idea how that rear sight is mounted so no clue if it's practical to remove it and perhaps replace it with something else.

I've just lived witht he elevation issue so far, holding under.
But can anything be done to the rear sight to lower the groups?

Additional thought: I'll look into getting a higher front sight. I should have thought of that !

    Thanks in advance.
PS: I wasn't sure if I should post this in Rifles or Shotguns!
