    I've read through the thread below requesting the section and looked at the top of the section for what should be posted in there. Is there any way we can get a sticky with something like "This isn't the place for basic tinkering, bolt ons, malfunctions or simple 101 questions. This is for advanced gunsmithing questions involving modifying parts, machining and fitment. For non-advanced threads please post in the depot or the arsenal. For gunsmith and coating recommendations see the IP section”

    Things like how to mount a scope, which BUS, and what oil to use are not really gunsmithing and don’t fit the section. The changing of a revolver caliber and cutting a 12ga barrel are what should really be in gunsmithing.
