Man I finally found the correct grips for my Colt Official Police.. Can't wait to shoot it..

Thanks everyone, I've had this nice Colt for some time and It's only flaw was some nasty grips. She is now complete.

I found a pair from Gun Parts Corp, for my old detective special.
Mine don't look anywhere near as nice as yours though.
I have the dull finish wood ones with the embossed logo, instead of the silver inserts.
I think mine were like $30, but it was worth not getting heckled at the range with the pearl grips.
Is yours in .38 Colt New Police (.38 S&W) or .38 Special?

I have 2 older holsters for that pistol. Now I'm looking for the pistol. They were my FIL's from when he was a Williamsport Town Police Officer.

I know. Your revolver looks beautiful. I know mine was made in 1952 and the bluing is definitely better than anything else in the safe. The quality on these guns is phenominal. I wish mine was .38 Special. Mine is in .38 S&W and last time I bought ammo it was almost $30 a box and is really hard to find. Pretty much an online deal only.

I picked up one of these from gunbroker about a month ago, made in '62 thing looked mint and is a pretty good shooter.
