Got the Walther P22 To The Range

Got out yesterday with my newly acquired Walther P22. Notoriously picky with ammo, this little guy proved himself worthy. It’s an older model (2005), so I expected some ammo issues.

CCI Stingers- 100% reliable.
CCI Mini Mags- 100% reliable.
CCI Standard Velocity- 100% reliable.
Aguila High Velocity- 90% reliable. First round did not cycle the action. The following nine rounds were fine.
Remington Golden Bullet- 100% reliable.
Winchester Super X Hollowpoints- 100% reliable.
Miscellaneous Remington (Some as old as 50 years old)- 100% reliable.

It appears as if I have lucked out and gotten one that likes pretty much everything. The gun is more accurate than I am, but I had some fun getting it out and testing some different ammo.

This one is a winner.

I love the P22.
I have heard of its feeding habits, but I still want one.
Still looking for one that has not been marked up for FJB.

Mine ran 200 rounds with no problem, but ever since it is a very picky eater.
To the point that I am ready to mail mine back to Walther. Perhaps mine were made on a Friday afternoon?
