If you’re already up there, might as well stop in at Reddings Hardware and Gettysburg Trading Post to round out the trip. Neither are very far from the gun show.
Never will I go to Reddings! 2013 was the last straw with that place..

I always stop at Gettysburg trading, I drive by it on the way home. Better prices on ammo.. And firearms.

Just got back from the show. There are now two fewer Colt A3 police trade-ins in circulation. They both have the neato six hole handguards too.

Just got back from the show. Disappointed very sparsely attended. I did see a few guns there though.

I agree. Reddings gauges the hell out of you. I went last year after not going since 2013. Their prices were complete rip offs! Never again.

Does Magman have a large selection? Looking for some hi cap mags.

Hanover Shooters Supply is usually at the first set of tables to the right and he was there. Dennis Todd is usually at the second set on the right, he was not there. Several of the dealers that are usually there were not in attendance. I went looking for several different guns that those dealers would be likely to have so, it was kind of disappointing. Looked more like a Maryland show this time. Only spent $20 for some plastic MTM ammo boxes.

Standard capacity mags was at magmans booth. He normal tables. Prices were higher than the last time I attended. November or December show.. Example CZ rami standard 10 rd $42 the extended was $49. AR and AK mags at magman I thought were high as well $24 was the cheapest I saw for the cheaper mags.
But other standard capacity ar/AK places had them for the normal prices. ( I don't shop AR mags as I don't own one.)

Given that PA recently got rid of their ban on auto knives, how is the selection of OTFs from knife vendors?
Every table had all the cheap knifes you could ever need or want.
One of two places had a nice selection of better made/name brand! OTFs/switch and you name it...
I saw one OTF (cheap, would not even discribe it) for a great price of $14!yes $14.. A few places had the same knifes as all the other places. The only difference was price.
The one vendor that had the name brand name recognized knifes had alot to choose from and I though had a lower price than I have seen in the past. So maybe the law changing as helped the buy of knifes.

 Good intel. There are some benchmades and microtechs that I'd like to add to the collection. Very curious to handle one of hogues otf offerings as well. May make a trip up tomorrow to see whats around. If not GAOS is just a week out.

The folks at Gettysburg Trading post are happy to work with MD residents too... they had no problem shipping a handgun I wanted to a MD dealer. I don't even think they charged me to ship it.

Good to know. I went there for mags that I couldn't find at the show. They didn't have any either and offered to order them for me. Everyone seemed very friendly and they had a huge ammo supply.

    You must have a story.

I've been there several times over the years and always liked that they had a little of everything. I bought a current production Winchester lever action that wasn't out of line price-wise. That was a few years ago when covid was starting to become a thing. When it comes to blued steel and walnut, I like to see what I'm buying if possible. The guy that did my paperwork was fine. I went there over the summer after a show and they had rearranged their store and had way less inventory than in the past but I found a few odds and ends.

Interesting, I'll have to pay closer attention. When I go to out of state shops like that, I usually look for long guns that aren't usually found at the local shops, used guns and odds and ends that I could order online but will grab it if it's there. Like before covid, they had a ton of Ruger bolt actions from the African line, stuff like that, that isn't common around here.

Went to Reddings for the first time a couple weeks ago. Neat store but was disappointed in how their magazines and ammo were located behind the counter. P-mags weren’t even facing out towards the customer. They were off to the side. Have to check out the Trading Post next time.

Thanks for the info HRDWRK and the others who went. I didn't go because I thought the show wouldn't be that good. It was a good show up to 2020 since then it has been downhill. It was also nice to go there at the end of January. I did go last year. Eagle Arms is the promoter who does the big show at Oaks. This might be it for having a show at the All Star Complex.

I stopped in on my way to the Trading Post and thought it was smaller than I expected. First time going. I asked the mag guy if he had any factory HK93/33/53 mags and after foraging around a big bin of mags he found some at the bottom. He went on about how rare they were, etc, and said $70ea. I said how about three for $200 but he just laughed and said no. So I put my cash away and handed him the three new mags back. He looked a little surprised and asked...you don't want these anymore? I said no and walked away. It wasn't like I needed them since it was more an impulse buy, and if his attitude was different I probably would have bought them.

I didn't want to tell my story about magman, but yesterday just about the same thing.. HE seems to think that he is the only guy in town, I just went to another table and paid what he wanted $5 more . NO skin off my hinny, but as slow as it was yesterday, it was $50 buck CASH in his pocket.

They are indeed. I have bought quite a few hard to find Sigs and a Colt 1911 from them over the past couple of years.
