I am pissed at the landscaper quote I got and looking to manage the work myself this fall between day hands and my son staying there a couple weeks to do some of the labor.
I have excess dirt that needs to go and changing out the landscaping rocks in the back yard before I put down the barrier sheets and new stones I'll have delivered.
I also have some trees I'm looking to get rid of.
Where do I get this dumped at?
I do have a Worcester county landfill trash sticker for my car if that will help with getting rid of any of it.

Do any of the bulk mulch dealers in your area haul out trees? Are there any firewood dealers doing the same?

I go to Wicomico and the satellite dumps you can take the trees and rubbish, I would think Worcester would be the same with a permit.
For the rocks and dirt they may or may not, hard to say but I would talk to someone with a farm or even a golf course grounds crew may let you place fill there.
If they have a main dump possibly at Snow Hill, you may be able to get rid of it there too. You may need a dump permit and not just household if theirs any kind of tonnage.

One thing to keep in mind about the rocks is theirs not a lot of them around so if you happen to see a farmer ask them, maybe they would let you put that sort of thing at or near a culvert on an ag lane or something.
I bet if you asked Big John or 303 they would know I'm sure. Especially for the rocks and dirt all that sort of thing needs hauled here from somewhere else for the most part.

Do you have a way to load it? Is there a good bit of traffic past your place?

I got rid of lots of topsoil when making a driveway for my sister in law by putting a "free dirt" sign by the road. I got rid of it all in less than the week I had the small backhoe rented.

Ocean Pines also has a spot for yard waste. It’s behind the fire dept, South Gate. However, they are only open from end on Nov thru Dec on certain days.

Thx, all, I have a trailer but it does not have sides on it to hold the dirt well.
would be a lot of trips but I may be doing this work in the fall if I do it myself w/ my son.
Finding a farmer that could use them would be great.

Hoping I can get someone to pick up the rocks though.

Last I checked you can’t cut a tree down in the pines without their blessing. Good luck with that.

Dirt and rocks, put them out front with a free sign.
