For ATF CLEO Notification, does it matter which CLEO?

    No. You must fill that section out on the Form 1. If you leave it blank, or put the wrong person, they will deny you. There was a thread a while back, people put the old head of the MDSP (who retired), not the new head, and got denied.
    I understand that part. I was wondering if you could email that person instead of sending them the information through USPS.

    ATF takes care of CLEO notification.
    Finally. Now I understand. That's makes sense. I thought I read that some people were dropping letters in the mail to the CLEO after they received approval.
