It was not very well painted, and showed a lot of wear on the handle and trigger guard. This is good gun and deserves a better finish. Well, it finally got one!
I considered all my options, and decided on Cerakote. I stripped the frame, and took it to Bollinger Gunsmithing & Sales. The slide was in much better shape, so using steel wool and oil, I rubbed out some of those brush marks. I don't have any two-tone guns, so the frame will be a different color.
    First, the before pictures:

    I'm impressed.
And good choice in a gun.
Hi powers are just sexy. The 2 tone looks good.

I must say, the "before" pics don't really look all that bad to me...

Agree, does look better in picture as seen by camera. Also, I should have taken pics from angles showing the handle and trigger guard.
This was a low cost project too. I completely disassembled and reassembled the frame myself. Only the frame was painted. However, I will be putting the $ into my CZ82. That one is above "my level of expertise". It is right now with Bollinger Gunsmithing & Sales getting the complete job...These are the only firearms (that I currently have) that I would have done.

Wow. Tremendous improvement. Yours is an example of when professional refinishing is worth every dime, even in terms of desirability and resale value.
