Fishing in OC this weekend? Anyone can go?

So, I'm down Thursday evening thru Sunday morning.
Anyone else in the OC area this weekend?
Good weather looking Friday which is the best day.
My fishing buddies bailed so I'm looking for up to 2 to go with me.
If ocean is good, I'll be going 25 miles out to sea bass, but also may hit the south jetty.
I don't mind fishing by myself in the bay, but I dont' go into the ocean by myself at this time of the year.

You don't have to be a Master Baiter, but you do need to know your way around a rod and hook
IF ocean is angry, then we will do the bay and I'm not so good a bay fishing but will still fish.
PM me your availability and any info on your fishing abilities.

Man, what a great offer and I would be all over that if I didn't need to practice this weekend for an upcoming Bass tnx. Saturday and Sunday will be the only time I have for practice so I will unfortunately have to pass on your generous offer. Can I get a rain check?
Been fishing for more than 50 years and have been a high-performance boater for 30 plus years as well as an active bass fishing club member since 1993 when a few guys and myself started the club. Ocean type fishing I have a little experience with and a lot of TV watching.

I would probably take you up on that offer but I am in OBX until next week. Going to do some surf fishing here. The Drum and Mackeral are supposedly running here.

One MDS member and a neighbor fished. It was nearly non stop from the start. Probably 60 throw backs. We could have kept going and limited out it we wanted to.
I also went on my own in the bay Thursday late afternoon for some Tog throwbacks
