Thanks. Not so sure about the coaching part but I must say from what I have seen in my short time on this earth; when it comes to New shooters women are amazing. It seems as though they tend to be more accurate than new male shooters.

Yes. We went over safety, how to aim with iron sights, trigger press and grip.

Since you brought it up :

Women advantage -

Listen & follow directions better
More flexible upper body

Women disadvantage -

Less hand strength
Less upper body strength generally
Due to different body porportions , the overlap of fit of holsters and accessories is less than 100 %

Wild card factor -

Women are more often afflicted with insurmountable " Ick ! Guns Bad. , I don't really want to touch one " .

If they they are there totally of their own choice and free will , it's a non issue .
But if their gritting their teeth for a job , or otherwise under outside pressure , mental blocks can prevent adaquate performance , or self shut off at exact minimum passing .
