Okay, since my first purchase a few weeks ago I have gone off the deep end and bought a few more Benchmades.

Griptilian - Doug Ritter RSK MK1 full size
Griptilian - Doug Ritter RSK MK1 mini
    Barrage - 581 with G10 handles and M390 blade

For the wife I got her a Griptilian - Doug Ritter RSK MK1 mini in pink

I have a few more on my wish list from Benchmade but right now I am looking into a few ESEE fixed blades. I am looking at the Laser Strike, the Izula II and the Candiru

The Ritter is a great hard use knife/survival folder. The Griptilian is a nice line, but the standard blade options aren't well suited to heavy usage in many cases. The blade overhaul with the better grind and reinforced tip and jimping really take it from a good knife to an excellent one. Are your Ritters the S30, M2, or M4 ones? I had a matching numbered pair of the M2 Ritters that I loved but had to sell...I really regret it as they are such nice knives.
