I stumbled onto an add. It seems interesting, but also gimmicky (although they insist it is not a gimmick). It is a clip that covers the trigger guard and hangs off a belt.
I DID search. I did not find any threads about it, but did see that El_Flasko liked one for his p365 a few months ago (see, I really did search :rasp:)

    Anybody else have one...or thoughts?

I think I would be concerned about long term longevity (how quickly is it going to wear out and get loose). Depending on attire, it probably wouldn't be comfortable to have the naked gun pressed against the skin for too long. It does seem interesting for the quick, "slip it in your pocket" situations, especially if you don't have a pocket.

I love these type things. Finally someone made them for guns other than glock. Slap it on, throw it in your back pack or wherever.
Tether it with string to whatever you throw it inside and pops off when you draw.

First off, you know I respect your opinion on all things holster and carry (even though I still begrudge a little bit that I went all in on Vedder just as you shifted your favor to Tenicor...and will never forget that ;) ).

BUT...they specifically say that it is only meant to be in your waistband and NOT clipped to other things. Which is a bummer, because I had ideas about clipping it to all sorts of stuff. That application seems more like what RFBfromDE suggested:
I went with the trigger cover only, no clip.

    Not an IWB fan.

I’m impressed by how many models they have at Naked Holster.
They do have one for Sig P365, which is good (even though the picture is Glock). I kinda want a clip, too (but on the "sheath," not the slide).

    I have one for 365

It is 3D printed so be prepared for that. The print quality was good and the layout/orientation of the layer lines are such I don’t have any worry about strength or durability.

Snaps onto the trigger guard and holds tightly, maybe not for tossing into pocket though, designed for the clip to be on belt or waistband.

The thing is, it is good enough to be sitting solo inside some dedicated part/pocket of the pack or wherever.
I have messed around with bare triggers (with the pistol unloaded of course) jamming it in pockets and places and stuff and have yet to have the trigger fire. You are really hard pressed to make a pistol "accidently go off". You need to understand that a company has to worry about liability and more or less has to scare the consumer into not using the product in any other fashion just for liability reasons.

    Go Vedder! tenicor

That is true on both counts. I sometimes carry an LCR in my pants pocket (with nothing else) for convenience when I didn't figure I would really need it, least of all in a hurry. I messed around with it unloaded and concluded, "ain't no way" it would go off on its own. I took added comfort (because I do indeed carry a round in every chamber ;) ) that, based on the orientation it naturally rode, if somehow it did magically self discharge...yeah, I'd surely get burned, but the bullet couldn't touch me.

What feels like the first 10 minutes of their 11 minute video was all legal disclaimers about not using their product as intended :rolleye12 They showed a picture of a gun clipped to either a plate carrier or a backpack (I don't remember for sure...but it was something with MOLLE straps), and I thought, "Oh hell yeah!" just as they said, "don't ever do this" :(

There is a small gap in my carry routine that I think this product might help fill. Normally, my P365 spends it's whole life in the VEDDER iwb holster (I think it's called slim tuck? just kydex and a single clip). Ok, that is not 100% true. I do every once in a while draw it in a safe direction to make sure it, the holster, and my clothes all still get along and to admire the accumulation of dust bunnies on it. Otherwise, it is in the holster either on me, in the car lockbox or in the house lockbox.

There are times when I go to the farm in the evening that I want to have a gun with me, but not on me. While I'm there, working on equipment, I'm safe from threats and the gun is safer itself locked up in the car. I do want to have it accessible while I'm driving (because...you never know ) and when I get home. (we once, pre-Bruen, came home to a manhunt basically in our backyard. The police told us to go in our house and stay put...which was fine as long as HE wasn't already in there. Obviously we armed ourselves right quick once we got inside, but it sure would have been nice to be armed going from the car to the house.)

Doing this with the p365 in the holster works, but it could be smoother. Putting the holster on and off going to and from the car...I carry at 4 o'clock and it is just not an elegant process reaching around there trying not to muzzle my fingers or my ass...or drop the damn thing. Having a cover over the trigger (of a different gun, because I don't want to interrupt the normal routine of what I have) seems like it would be easier to stick in a pocket or bag to get to the car, ride in the console, then get locked up while I'm out of the car working...then reverse the process coming home.

So far nobody has said, "Those things are garbage and mine caused me to shoot myself!" so...I guess that's good

interesting. I'll stick with my Bravo Concealment holster for normal clothing, but this has some appeal to me as my fat ass likes sweatpants when I'm just making a quick run to a store as opposed to a night out for fun.

Bought this Zero Bulk by Versa Carry years ago for a Berretta Nano 3” auto.
Never used it; too sketchy for me, and had to dig through two boxes of gun gear to find it tonight.

Still selling on Amazon: Amazon product ASIN B007JC6AAGYouTube Video:

Just bought Sig Sauer P365 Saturday and it will come out of jail next weekend. Will do a quick fit check and take pictures.
Don’t plan on using it as holster by the magazine carrier seems to be in future use. Might use the Zero Bulk holster to hold P365 in truck door or console while driving and then move pistol to Alabama kydex pocket holster.

Well, I finally got around to ordering a couple of these. At the time, the Glock 43x/48 model was sold out (bummer, because that's what I really wanted to try first), so I ordered a Sig p365 and G17/19/etc. Shipping was free for two and only took a couple days.
I played around with the P365 one today. It's weird, but seems to work as advertised so far. If anyone was wondering, and unloaded P365 in one of these can be held carried Appendix Inside Boxer Shorts, with no pants. I think a loaded mag would make it too heavy for the elastic. Wearing pants and a belt, it worked fine.

Because it is so new and weird, I tested it out today as though I was afraid of guns...i.e. condition 3 :o. I just didn't trust that it wouldn't break or let my pistol jump out and crash onto the floor (not that my P365 hasn't clattered to the floor without going off in the past...:innocent0). I wasn't really carrying to carry, I was carrying to test the rig.

I only tried appendix carry, because it was easier to get to and monitor. I don't usually carry that way, so it was a little weird regardless of the holster being naked. I wore it for 2-3 hours working outside, on and off the tractor about a dozen times, chainsawing, hammering, etc. It definitely wanted to tip up and out while sitting on the tractor (it's a pretty much vertical driving position; not reclined at all) but it didn't. Both clips held onto what they were supposed to, even with the seatbelt on and trying its best to interfere.

The waistband side of the clip is really tenacious. It never let go when I drew (even when it was just clipped to my underwear). In fact, getting it to let go when I wanted it to was a challenge. That did lead to a tricky situation for reholstering. The instructions specifically and emphatically tell you not to try to reholster while the clip is attached to you. Take the clip off, put it on the gun, then clip the whole works back to you. Well, once you have drawn, you now have a (presumably loaded) firearm occupying one hand...probably your preferred hand, while your other hand tries to get this thing to release from your pants. Practice, I guess...but it was tricky.

The other potential downside I discovered was that the muzzle somehow worked it's way past the bottom of my T-shirt or, my muffin top climbed up above my drawers to meet it. However it happened, it was touching my skin. It didn't really bother me, but I would be concerned about getting sweat on the slide and barrel in the summer time. Probably a longer tailed T-shirt would have helped. I've seen how much lint my pistol collects inside a regular holster. I wonder if this would be worse (clearly the pistol would be exposed to more, and debris could get worked further into the guts or barrel) or better because my clothes would be constantly wiping it down?

So, the verdict is still out. I'm cautiously optimistic, but I'll play some more before I carry it like this "for real." Longevity is my other main concern. The material seems really tough right now. We'll see how it holds up.

The little Glock ones came today. I don't know that I'll be able to thoroughly test any of them out soon. First impressions are just like the Sig. I'm still amazed at just how tenaciously the clothes clip clips on clothes.

They sure weren't kidding about scratching the gun. The pic (that will be in the next post because it's easier from my phone) shows wear on the trigger guard from about 10 times in and out. From an aesthetic point of view, I don't care at all. The worrier in me can't help but wonder how many un/holsterings before there is enough damage to actually weaken the trigger guard structurally? Realistically, probably not in my lifetime...but that's no reason not to worry. It's no big deal on the Sig. If I have to buy a new grip module in 20 years, fine. I might even have a spare floating around. On the Glock, however, it IS the Glock.

It is so tempting to break the rules and clip it on something that I'm not supposed to. :o

Keep us updated on how you like it. I haven't used any of mine anymore. I just sweat too much in the summer and would rather sweat on the kydex of a "real" holster than onto the gun :o

Will do, I have to wear an undershirt or wife beater or else the strippling will irritate my skin.

I just took it out to fill up the daughter's car with gas. Definitely will be using it while doing outside stuff around the house.
