Found a good buy on an ERMA KGP 68A .380. In searching for info on 68A's I saw it mentioned in passing that there is info on ERMA's in John Walter's book, Luger Story

if anyone has a copy, could you tell me if the book mentions the years the 68A was produced?

I saw one mention of a particular gun being very near the last KGP68A made.

I dont know them well, but I wouldnt pay too much for it. Its a luger type gun but in a substandard caliber and parts are hard to get as with all ERMA makes.

I already know those details (and more) ... I've found one at a price good for what it is.

My post asks for something apparently neither of us know so far ... specifically when did production cease?

According to the Blue Book, manufacturing started in 1968. and was imported by Mandalls shooting supplies. From 1988 to 1990 it was imported by Beeman.
    hope this helps.

Yeah, that's why its called a KGP 68

Thanks on the 1990 for Beeman import ... that's probably the end of production ... it didn't occur to me to look there ... I learned something
