Elk Neck Saturday 7/12

I'm heading up to Elk Neck tomorrow (7/12) around Noon. I need to try out my new Glock 19, and continue breaking in my Kimber.

Anybody interested? Anyone in the Bel Air area can ride up with me to save on gas...

Wow, just missed you. My brother, my nephew and I rolled out at noon.

But it was a great day. Met a young man and his family who is being sponsored by Hunt of Lifetime to go on a Elk Hunt this November. I tell ya, I got more enjoyment in talking with him and his father and watching him shoot his brother's 30-06 than I did shooting my guns. I was impressed this young man was hitting 1-2 inches from dead center at 100 yards from his wheelchair.

Watching this young man really made me feel good that he is not letting anything stop his enjoyment or passion for hunting.

Brother and I plan to go weekend after the VA gun show coming up.

I must have been up on the pistol range when you were down the rifle range. I bet that was impresssive . I'm glad his disability did not hamper him having a good time.
