I have an idea I want on my ejection port cover on my AR 15 and was wondering how easy they are to take off and who would be able to do a custom design.

Yeah, don't lose the E clip

small needle nose pliers, and, a small, sharp poker to help pry it off.

Also put some tape on your forward assist on the upper, if you don't you will scratch the upper
