That Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in 44Mag is pretty much at the top of my "buy next" list, and I only live about 20 minutes away... alas the Expendable $ Fairy has not visited this SILK family in quite some time : (

I went to 2 previous shows here and there was a guy in the "lobby" with several tables of ammo at fairly decent prices including at the time somewhat hard to find stuff like handgun shot shells. The main roon was the usual mix of black rifles, collectibles (typically overpriced a bit) and older guys there to unload some stuff. The most annoying thing was the young lady hawking the food by yelling about it from the kitchen doorway.

It is potentially worth the trip and you can grab an excellent meal at the Bagery owned by our own fellow member 2ndCharter.

Well, that's when you had to move back out the door next to the fire apparatus until she put a cork in it
    for five minutes.
Yes some of the prices were high, but somebody went to the trouble to hump all that stuff to get it there so I cant blame them.
Doesn't mean you have to buy anything.
I knew two sellers there, didn't recognize anyone else except a few that came in to have a look.

Nice little show. I picked up some bits & pieces I was looking for.
I wonder how quiet these will be in my ShtLE with the Morris sub-caliber .22 tube?

I suppose you have had such fun moments at those shows! It was interesting to get such an idea of the ammo vendor in the lobby and I’m sure that the main room was something. Maybe, that is why there is so much noise! But it is a pity that there was a loud food vendor! And it was good to learn about the Bagery, hopefully I will be able to use that knowledge in the future travel.
