The targets know you mean business when you hang them like that.Cool ! I"m impressed with your marksmanship, while hanging upside down .

If you used HC polymer coated bullets they'd go even faster without upping your powder charge. And no leading, either.I chronoed my 180gr HC w/8.5gr Longshot (under SAAMI max) yesterday out of my G40 (long slide)
1300fps, which equals 675ft/lbs. I bet another .2gr would get me over 700ft/lbs of energy, which would be legal to hunt deer in Marylandistan.
I powder coated them with Eastwood blue.If you used HC polymer coated bullets they'd go even faster without upping your powder charge. And no leading, either.
Ah, okay. I used Badman Bullets coated with a full charge of Blue Dot to get those 180gr bullets to 1400+ fps out of a 5" 1911. Recoil was "brisk".I powder coated them with Eastwood blue.
Related and interesting.
Hell of a timber to his voice and a face made for radio. His voice made me stop watching after 2 minutes.
^^^^^^^ This.....It's here to stay , at a level 2 or 3 times the .41 Magnum .
Better late than never I sat down to process some 10mm brass and remembered this. Case seems to be well supported the hottest ammo I've tried to this point is grizzly 200gr hp @ 1300fps...no buldge in the case but the extractor did take a very tiny chip of the rim. Haven't seen this in any other ammo maybe it's the nickel plated case? It's very minor tried to take pic with cell phone but it doesn't show up in pics.I took out some of my 10s over the past two weeks as I got some ammo from a company whose name I forget. I wanted to test the reliability and recoil out of my different guns. So far, the 6" SA TRP Operator had the least recoil. The 3" Ruger GP100 was brutal, but it's nice having 180gr JHPs hitting 1200+ fps out of a snubby. I need to go to an outdoor range so I can set my chronograph up. Since you got the FN (nice choice BTW), would you please take a look at the brass and let us know if there is a bulge towards the bottom? I might pick one up if they have a decently supported chamber. Thanks.
