I got a rear weaver adapter from Amazon then removed the rear sight.

It was MUCH easier to sight and my accuracy increased. It was a fun project but I pulled it back off. As you can see I got a replacement front sight and sharpened the post ad my windage accuracy improved but I'm still hunting for the right elevation picture with that small post. I'm still working to get a higher post on the front sight cause Mine shoots so high. I tried the shrink wrap trick but it was not working for me. Since getting the PU Sniper, that's on the back burner.

It was a PAIN to push that pin out to put the adapter on. Plus the adapter said it would fit for a 91/30 but I had to grind it go get it to fit the lower part of the rear sight.
