DJ Batman - RIP

Passed away yesterday from cancer.

I haven't seen him in close to, if not, 30 years. He was pretty funny back then.

I think it was this weekend I did not hear his name on the list that WOCM calls out who is where and was wondering.

Late 80's, early 90's I was always through the different clubs and bars. He always said he went to Woodstock.

I was always concerned when I saw him riding a scooter years ago. People drive like idiots.
Hopefully his wife doesn’t go back to hitting the sauce.

Was it the way he rode a scooter, or just the fact that he rode a scooter?

Scooters are ridden in the bus lanes. Folks pull the noses of there cars out and cause wrecks almost daily in the summer to those in the bus lanes.

Gotta pay attention. I average about 1600 scooter miles a year.

I've driven the scoot as far as Middletown to the north, Salisbury to the west, and OC to the south.

RIP sir. I did sound for him at a couple large events back int the 80's. He was an awesome DJ. I remember when he moved to OC permanently.

I pay attention, and watched a woman take my lane while approaching a stop light in mid town. Ended up with a 370 pound machine on top of me after the front end locked up.
She ruined my summer, thankfully not the rest of my life in a chair. Still have neck pains from time to time.
