Has anyone used this bipod and can recommend it positively or negatively? I have a Harris with a LaRue QD mount, which is heavy, but very good. I'm looking to drop some weight and this GG&G setup drops nearly half a pound on my Harris/LaRue.

Looks like these are only good for AR15/M16 or M4 carbines.
    I'm a AK 47 user.

Highly recommended Bipod - U.S Army actually includes it in their kit for certain rifles.

Sorry Ontarget, if you had a SGL-21 Tac style with 4-point rail you'd be okay. I will keep an eye out for AK bipods.

GGG makes some good stuff at least from what I have bought. I bought their EOtech hood and lens cover and few other little things. From my experience a lot of thought and attention to detail goes into their work.

I know, my point is just because you have a unconverted saiga doesnt mean you cant rock a bipod. Really though, adding a rail to the handguard wouldnt be hard

I have one on the LMT MWS . Its big a takes up alot more space then the Harris and honestly to me does not feel like it is as solid as a Harris . This is just my opinion Im sure others opinions will differ .

Does the Tapco forearm w/ rail fit ALL the following Saigas? I'm talking about the inexpensive one.

    Saiga 7.62 x 39mm, .223, .308, or the 12 and 20 gauge Saiga shotguns. Not .410.

Is it a decent forearm for bipod use?

    Thanks.
