Can it be that every homicide in DC is from bullets? Doesn't anyone get stabbed or die from blunt force trauma anymore? Or maybe, this is all about taking guns away from honest people. :mad54:

I'm sure this will be very helpful. :sarcasm:

Last month, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser unveiled the "People of Promise Initiative" intended to target 200 individuals "at risk of being involved with gun violence" to connect them with community services. The initiative seemed to support the mayor and the police commissioner’s argument that most violence crime that happens in D.C. is committed by a small group of offenders.

Q: Who are 200 people on parole or NP'd for two or more violent felonies?

*****Hmm. How about just locking up the 200 individuals, ALL of whom have major criminal records - some several pages long including very violent crimes in addition to property crime, like literally forever? At least do not allow them to plea bargain down and insist they serve their *entire* sentence with no time off for good behavior because they are just sucky human beings to begin with?

Some people are so defective and wired wrong they just cannot be allowed out into a modern, peaceful society. They are predators, and most likely irredeemable human beings at some point. I'm not advocating killing them, or harvesting their organs and then killing them, or doing medieval things to them in public as a lesson to other potential wannabe super criminals.. None of those things. Jail time. Give them Playstations, cable TV, good healthy foods, perhaps some books if they can read, or teach them to read as reading is fundamental, and teach them a trade or skill they can use IN prison. Three hots, and a nice warm bed every night, internet, free healthcare, perhaps some sensible footwear and finger paints plus canvas so they can pursue their creative side if they have one. Don't care. We would all be safer on the outside if the top 200 individuals "at risk of being involved with gun violence" where connected with community services IN the prison system.

10am, and I just solved a major part of our recidivist crime problem. Ask me for more helpful advice after lunch, but before my nap time, or I might get ornery and just say F' it, just kill them. And, we wouldn't want these top 200 people dead, God forbid - I'm sure they can serve some purpose, IN prison.

YES tired of this absolute bullsh1t. PUT AND KEEP the animals in jail, and crime will magically go down. It's just so f_cking common sense yet no one wants to do that.

you know what makes it hard for violent criminals to get guns? keep them in jail, that's how.

    Harder, but not impossible
