After watching a video on youtube I decided to try something new to me. I would shoot an airgun at 100 yards standing using iron sights. The metal target is 12 x 14 1/2".
I trashed the stock carry handle and replaced it with one from Palmetto State Armory. The front sight was also trashed and replaced with an aftermarket one.

    So how did it perform?
First let me say that besides the front and rear sight change I also did a trigger job on the rifle which made shooting at that distance much easier. Second since I've never shot an air gun at that distance before I was really surprised at how fast the pellet reached the target from the pull of the trigger. Third what I thought was awesome is that the elevation knob was rotated 23 clicks which allowed me to put the sights center of target to make my hits.No Kentucky windage, no aiming high, just center target. It was fun and I plan on doing it again when I get the time and there is no wind. I also plan to try some different pellets to see if I can shrink the group size. But at 100 yard with irons on an air gun I got one pellet in the red and now I'm hooked.
