From what I know, the only bad thing about CT is the price.

My only concerns about that model would be holster fit and how much room I'm losing for my fingers around the grip.

Check out the Crimson Trace Railmaster series. They're very affordable and fit any rail-equipped gun. They can be found in the $120 range.

I find them useful on handguns with zero in the way of sights: Ruger LCP in particular. I've had pimples that are raised higher than that front sight.

All of my SD pistols have them. It's ideal for very low light or if you cannot get a decent sight picture. It's not an alternative to proper technique or practice. It's more of a sanity check or last ditch aid. I've had good luck here:

I agree 100%. The LCP is purely a belly gun without one.

With them you get to learn how to instinctively shoot this gun which is a big plus.
