Southern Maryland newspaper The County Times feature story today by Guy Leonard was on O'Malley proposing gun control measures, but the real story is that it was not an anti hit piece, only a call to common sense. We were portrayed fairly and logically with a little help from a fellow MDS member and Sanners Lake Sportsman Club President, John Mountjoy. :D:thumbsup:

The story laid out a few recent proposals of O'Malley followed by a lengthy quote by House Minority Leader Anthony O'Donnell ripping holes in O'Malleys logic.

Accurate Guns and Ammo in Loveville was the featured store stating how recent events spurred the sale of every black rifle they had and could get hold of.

I was there when the photographer was setting up, buying 17rd Beretta magazines for the M9A1 I am currently still waiting on. Mark Hancock of Accurate G&A said at the time of the article printing, the backlog from MSP was around 3,500 applicants behind.

Our own John Mountjoy put the icing on the cake with some choice quotes and facts, leaving the neutral reader some serious food for thought.

Thank you Guy Leonard for a fair shake for gun owners in a harsh climate.:party29:
