For those that have been carrying a while... do you wear an undershirt of some sort along with you normal shirt to keep the IWB carry setup from getting all sweaty?

I wear an undershirt just to keep the gun from rubbing against my skin, which I find uncomfortable. I IWB carry a 43X with a synthetic holster, so I'm not worried about the leather or steel affected by sweat.

I literally just wear whatever. Have carried since 2018 near daily. Only purpose-made clothes I own for carry are belts. Currently relying on a Nexbelt Rogue.

Arrowhead Tactical Apparel is great for sweats, joggers and the like. Pricey but I love the sweats!

I ordered a couple belts from Kore and Nexgen to see what I like. I haven't carried since before Kydex was a thing so I only have a plain thick leather belt I used for OWB with a Sig P220.

Also, SIERRA has a crap ton of shirts that are affordable and nice, as well as shorts. Sizes are hit or miss. These shorts are great

Until you try a belt with a ratchet buckle. Belts with holes and standard buckle suck now. Ratchets are a game changer for the physical being of your waistline.

Lol...ok so my spare tire is there for a reason, you try holding 2-5lb birds for 3-4hrs straight, hence the arm rest. What belt that has ratchet buckle do you recommend? I am old school OWB pancake type guy most of the time.

I like my Kore brand for OWB. Much stiffer.
I like the Nexbelt EDC model for casual and IWB.
I keep saying this, but to be able to make 1/4 inch adjustments on the go is fantastic. Sit down, click a lever and it loosens. Stand up, and push the belt tighter.
I would take a little less thickness/quality of a belt for the benefit of quick adjustments.
When something isn't comfortable as a whole, any little bit of comfort you can squeeze is important.

Did you get their gun belt or just the regular belt?

The gun belt has a polymer liner in-between the two pieces of leather.

Gun belt makes a HUGE difference in carry comfort, be it KORE, Nexbelt or KLIK make sure it is their reinforced , "Gun Belt"
I have the KORE and love them.

This sounds like my wife's review before she ordered my first Kore. She also wears Vakandi EDC leggings but I'm not going there!

I've grown fond of the Groove Life belt. It is intended for concealed carry while being acceptable in an office environment (both characteristics which I need). It's a little pricey at $60 (on Amazon) but I have been wearing mine daily for about 6 months and haven't seen any signs of wear from my holsters. It stretches enough that I don't notice It and it is vertically stiff enough to carry my heaviest set up (Glock 19 with RMR at appendix and two mags at 11 o'clock).

Highly recommend!
