Good luck...I haven't seen a genuine Colt SAA in any gun shop in MD for quite some time. If you want genuine Colt your best bet is to check the internet...or join the Colt Forum and see whether anyone has any to sell. The only 7.5" Colt single-action revolvers I have are two NIB...a New Frontier and a Colt Cowboy.
Colt makes about eighty SAA revolvers per month and distributors get them immediately then to long-time retailers from that point.
I picked up a 4.75" 45 LC Colt SAA from Sportsman's Warehouse earlier this year. I believe they can also ship do any FFL. When I got mine 4.75 in Barrel was all they had. Brand new in the blue box. About 1.2k IIRC.
J&K Pawn in HDG had a few of them a couple months back. I know a guy that bought 3 of them but I believe they still had a few left. They were all genuine Colt SAA guns.
I've seen a couple at the Dulles Gun show and they wanted top dollar for them. I did however, just bought a 93 Colt Python that has never been fired from a former Colt employee. Happy Day for me! 7 day wait is going to suck!
