The Colt Pocket vs the Remington Pocket: What is your choice and why? For aesthetics, feel, and fun at the range...these are both horrible for self-defense, so let's rule that out.

    Colt over Remington

Although the Remington has a top strap style frame… which tends to be stronger.
The Colt is case hardened steel. Thus, less apt to stretch or warp. The brass will wear quicker.
Further, the Colt has a trigger guard. That’s a nice safety feature.

Everything else being equal (which it rarely is)...the Colt is a better investment long-term than the Remington.

The Colt also fits better the image of a riverboat gambler if that's one's lifestyle.

I think the Colt is easier to pull apart and clean.
I like how when I had someone shoot my Colt replica, they said, where is the rear sight?
    Pull the hammer back.....oh
