    Had this come through,

Whether they live up to original HKs, time will tell.

Proof reading their advertising would be a good start. Bringing...

Proudly designed and assembled in Texas. Where are the parts made?

All parts are made in house here in the US. Brett has already sold quite a few of them and there are a couple on gun broker right now. So far, all reports I’ve seen have held them in high regard. I know he is currently in the works of being able to offer M13 guns in “stock” form or with modern enhancements as well.

Would love to see this as a reality. A.quick configuration check for essentially a clone of my classic examples is.2600

The website configurator for P7Pro gives you an idea of what is possible, but the business model where you just order a custom gun is not for the most part, the current business model. Right now most of the business is batches of P7 pistols where there is an opportunity and there is a dream to create clones of most of the P7 models. For example, currently P7Pro has acquired 92 Original HK P7M8 frames and they are making a "Bulk Batch" of pistols from that. P7Pro makes some of the parts including, I understand, all the barrels and so, threaded or unthreaded are available. I bought from that batch and the price is reasonable, reasonable considering the average price of decades old ones. However, options are limited on the bulk batch, because of economics and the original frame. They are mostly black nitride finished. The first ones had the old HK proprietary dovetail on the slide, but now they can have Novak sights.
A beta of slides with optic cuts is in progress. This will soon be a regular option.
An aluminum framed batch is starting and there may be many more options on that.
There is a vote in progress for features on a limited sized, upcoming titanium framed batch and I understand that there will be M13 clones and perhaps M8 clones after that. I am hoping they will both be rail models. They might be DLC finished.

Back when they were affordable, I inquired about suppressing the P7. Some folks who were presumably more knowledgeable than I told me that it wasn't as good a suppressor host as the HK P9S.

The gas cylinder made the pistol pretty hot after a few mags. The plastic insulator they added to the later models helped, but I don't think one would care to put a box of ammo through it at the range.

Some of the newly-illustrated models, with extended barrels, colored plastic grips seem to have lost sight of the original nature of the design; a compact pistol with a long sight radius and low bore axis. P7 with a long barrel, is just ugly. IMO, of course.

There is the German made P7, and then there is everything else. It's what Jesus would carry.
If there is any sort of consolation, he does have a “handful” of 100% German M8 kits available for building.. I’m currently waiting on mine to he assembled by him and all said and done, you can have a “brand new” 100% German parts gun assembled in the US for $3300.
