I've been searching to find the answer the best I can and can't find it. Need someone to point me in the right direction. I understand the law for purchasing an AR-15 but do I actually need to have the rifle in hand by the October date or do I simply need to pay for it and have all my paperwork submitted for approval by then. I want to by a SBR so the ATF paperwork will take 6 months and delivery of rifle may take time as well. Any help would be nice.
