Have moved, still in Southern Maryland. I have a trust for my class 3 items, have two more items in bound to Maryland.

Does anyone know what is involved with a change of address on a NFA trust?

Talk to the lawyer that drafted your trust. They should make the change and not charge you for that service. If it's a do it yourself trust, I can't help you. Either way, the new address must be recorded by the BATF.

I don't believe a Trust has an "address".

And I don't believe there are any legal requirement for notifying the ATF for intrastate moves either.

These are sections 2 and 5 of the 5320.2. Application to Transport Interstate or to Temporarily Export Certain National Firearms Act (NFA) Firearms.

I'm not sure why the example they give for #5 would not also apply to interstate, even though the form does not list that in the title?

    2. Firearms to be returned to original Location. Yes or No

    5. Reason for Transportation of Firearms (example: Permanent change of Address)
