Well, applying for that and picking it up might have been the most painless experience of my life. I think I was in the building for a total of 4 minutes. Good job PA.

If you're going to Codorus, you might as well just go to York. When I got my PA permit, I think it took less than 72 business hours for approval. Then it's just a matter of setting up an appointment to get your picture taken and to have the permit issued. Not sure exactly when you're going but if you apply now, you might be able to swing by their office to pick up your permit on your way to the Park.

Not sure if you're aware, but PA is an open carry State. You don't need a permit to open carry a handgun. But make sure you read the rules on it because if I remember correctly, when in your vehicle without a carry permit, you have to keep the gun and ammo separate or something else.. can't remember... sorry.

That was my experience as well. I ride into PA a lot and got mine thru York County.
