Not sure where to post this question so will start here.

With all the new wear carry permits being issued in md.
What if anyone has decided on using a carry insurance company such as carry guard, u s law shield , private lawyer retainer ,ect. Forbid legal counsel needed.
    What are some recommendations ?
    Thanks

I agree, CCWSafe seemed like the best bet for me. You need to know what your specific needs and wants are. There is a lot of information about the differences of each company on line. Good luck.

anyone aware of any reports, after a shooting, where the insurance really helped or really didn't? i think that would mean a lot more than the verbiage/marketing bs on the insurers' websites.

    CCW safe
couldn't beat how much help they provide for the price. I paid the whole year off for like $210

I was looking at maybe going with U S law shield
But now see ccw safe is also a good option.

I thought I'd revive this thread, as I'm due up for my carry insurance renewal soon. I currently have CCW Safe, but I'm wondering if I should switch to USCCA or Bear. Does anyone have actual experience with either of these outfits? I'm guessing a good bit of us are due for renewal soon.

I'm not unhappy with CCW Safe (luckily, I've never had to use it) - I just want to explore my options.

Where are you in MD? I know a few ranges around central MD, where if you join the range as a member, they give you a USCCA Insurance Discount. Might be worth joining just to get the discount? Regardless of how you get insurance, I would recommend keeping your skills current, finding time at least once a month to keep you and your equipment running smooth.
