Any suggestions for OWB holsters for Cz 75 p01 ?
Good questions!budget?
style?
material?
daily carry or ccompetition?
Will you be open carrying (ergo need retention)?
so many to choose from.
When I was over 300, I found something OWB to be most comfortable. A shirt hanging over it. Depends on what you wear.Ok I'm a big man. 300 lbs. What is a great way to carry and what to use.
What is OWB? Planning on my 1911 45When I was over 300, I found something OWB to be most comfortable. A shirt hanging over it. Depends on what you wear.
I too have a 1911..45.......I've been using a belly band...I don't mind it but it scrunchs upI too am a big guy, in your weight class, and kinda look like Santa.
How you carry will depend on what you want to carry, how you want to dress.
Now I have only carried around the house, since I have not taken the training classes and applied as of yet.
Being old and retired, I prefer to wear sweat pants and a tee shirt. I have carrying most of a day in a belly band type setup a commander sized 1911. Its not too bad. So that is what I plan on going with if just out running a couple of errands. If I need to put on real pants, I plan on getting a leather pancake holster and carry about 4 o'clock. I have also carried a Polish P 64 in a pocket holster, also in an ankle holster.
At least that is going to be my starting point, I have a variety of other pistols that may want an outing.

As others said, outside waistband. As you might expect there are also IWB holsters. Both come in various types. What is OWB? Planning on my 1911 45
Stoner, I bought the 2XL and it was actually too long, so I folded it opposite the holster side and sewed the sides and bottom and now have a mag pouch. Don't remember where I ordered it from most likely Cabelas, or Midway. It will bunch up some after awhile, but not too bad.which brand?
My comforttac never bunches. But... I use it mostly for biking.
My suggestion is to check out urbancarry. I personally like their Inside the Waistband (IWB), but they also have some decent OWB. Upthread I agree with the pancake style holster, very comfortable, a great choice for OWB. There are also more spendy leather options from places like El Paso Saddlery. you will probably accumulate a few are you try them out.
Be aware of the return policy. Some are custom, you can't return the holster. for a newb, consider one from Amazon that you can return in case you find it uncomfortable.
Ghost belly band from Amazon. I didn't really like conforttec. My sight got hooked on it. I've been testing Amazon's belly bands for that reason to return ones I don't like. I'm not sure If I was open carry or conceal. Maybe both and wouldn't mind one that I can do both in.which brand?

Budge is all weather if I find it comfortable or not sitting walking driving etc.Good questions!
For concealed daily carry with an OWB, I prefer a leather pancake-style holster that the belt threads through (vs clips or loops).
Many manufacturers make them, most keep the gun relatively high and tight to the body.
I had a P-01 but carried it IWB in a SuperTuck at 3:30. I went to a PCR and carried it at 3:30 in an HBE OWB pancake, mainly in cooler weather. It doesn't print under a t-shirt at all, unless I bend over, then it's horrific. Summer, I usually IWB a crossdraw with a shorter gun. Less comfy, but much better hidden.
No budget if it's comfortable with everyday all day activities. Style again I'm just looking for comfort to carry daily. Would like to have one that's versatile to open and conceal if possible but not needed. Material hopefully not one I'll sweat to dead with.budget?

Concealed means a garment covers the gun ( or its in a backpack or purse).I'm not sure If I was open carry or conceal. Maybe both and wouldn't mind one that I can do both in.
This. Comfy.Unless you want something else on purpose for a specific reason , the default answer is a Pancake style holster , made from a dead cow .
Ever think about a sack?I too am a big guy, in your weight class, and kinda look like Santa.
