so far a whole bunch of lip service to "sorry taxpayer" and blaming the Susquehanna River, NY and PA. Basically regarding HB 987 contact the Carroll County Board of Commisioners.

Shannon just gave her speech. Now John Josselin (sp?) is speaking talking about compliance with SB281 and how to work within the law.

Preferred Shannon's "We are deadly serious".

How was the turnout? Were the demographics as bad as the Frederick Town Hall?

John Josselyn from AGC Baltimore in answering questions said something to the effect that if you own a lower prior to 10/1, you'd be able to complete the rifle, and then mentioned the ATF.

I tried to ask him about it, but since I had to leave a bit early he gave me his card. Not sure what he was talking about regarding contacting ATF to complete a lower owned before 10/1.

Carroll County States Attorney Jerry Barnes closed the show, by answering a question whether he believes SB281 is unconstitutional. He said yes, he does.

Part B of the question was essentially, if you think it is unconstitutional then what happens with prosecutions. He started by answering that their oath is to uphold the U.S. and Maryland constitutions, and state laws. I think he was not prepared to say that he would refuse to prosecute cases under an unconstitutional law, so he didn't. He did say, multiple times and to a very sympathetic audience, that States Attorneys exercise judgment and discretion in prosecutorial decisions. :innocent0
