Among my late uncle's possessions I brought home were 4 of his fixed blade knives. One needs a sheath made.

does anyone know a sheath maker they can recommend? I searched the forum and found reference to one in Arizona, but not much else.

Not looking for anything fancy, just a good sheath for it. Knife has more sentimental value than any monetary value.

I used a guy named Harry at Savage Sheaths for a Bowie my Dad had made that I found in a box of stuff my Mom had. I thought he did a pretty solid job and I thought his prices were reasonable. He came recommended to me from a friend who is really into knives and had used him several times before.

I have made some for myself and some friends. I am not a professional leather smith and do some work as a hobby. I am in Calvert County if you are interested. Some of my work below.

Skinbender leather out of MI makes all the sheaths for Vehement knives and she takes commissions. (Middle pic)

42nd Latitude Leather also makes a great sheath.( top pic)

Jason Moe of Diomedes Leather made the sheath in the bottom pic.

    All are impeccably crafted
