I was cleaning out a cabinet. Had misc firearm parts in there. Had a bag with some old HK parts and this cleaning tool was in there. Does anyone recognize it? Trying to figure out if this came with an HK pistol that I used to own. I seem to remember it being inside the case from my old USP or MK23.

It's an omega lock wrench. It's for your internal locking mechanism. Looks like a case with a torx bit on the front. Goes in chamber, close slide, stick what you depict down the barrel and tighten.

It is not made by hk.

Nah, it's a relative bearing tool.

They need to be removed and lubricated periodically or your magnetic compass will not work properly.

Ok, thanks a bunch! I don't even remember ever having the lock part. Just a mystery where it came from

Yeah, keeps you from having to remember the left add right subtract rule. Super handy but best only used away from large metal objects (like tin can destroyers and sewer pipe nuke boats full of "seamen").

It's a jam assist tool. If your gun jams in a firefight, unfold the tool, push it down the barrel, rotate until it engages the stuck round, then gently pull it out. May take several tries.

If you don't have the small piece that goes with it, chances are that the guy who bought your gun is pretty pissed.
