I stopped at Chesapeake City and walked down the causeway til I saw a pier and two guys were fishing. One guy pulled in about a 7lb catfish. He also had 4 and 5 lb ones in a sack.I plan on being up that way for the goose/dove opener and now might plan on some catfishing the canal while Im up there.Any advice for places/tactics?.I plan on using cut bluegill for bait.:party29:

honestly, you can use hotdogs if you wanted to. They're all along the canal, typically in the holes. Bigger isn't always better as the catfish is a bottom feeder and you don't want to know what it has ate if you going to keep and cook them. Delaware's PCB's are off the charts.
