I'm certain this is out there somewhere, but I'm having some trouble finding a definitive answer (I should probably call the MSP licensing division....) but I'll start here. I'm looking at a SxS for sale in PA? Can I purchase it there (at an FFL to handle the transfer) and simply drive home, or would I still have to ship it toy own FFL here?

I could be wrong, but I believe that you can cash & carry long guns in states that share a border with Maryland.

Standard disclaimer - not a lawyer blah, blah.

Buying from a dealer, i think youre ok. MD's law requires second hand sales transfererred through an FFL. A new sale with a PICS check *should* be ok coming from a dealer and not being a handgun.
